In order to open your account we are obliged by our regulator, the Financial Services Authority, to verify your identity. The details you submit will therefore be checked on our behalf by Equifax and/or Experian (this is not a credit check).

If you live outside the UK, you can use this form to submit your details but we will request further documentation to complete your application.

If your application is successful, we will usually confirm your account number and via email within one minute. If we are unable to verify your identity (or if you are a Corporation or are resident outside of the UK) we will notify you together with details of how to complete your application. In either event, we may need to contact you by telephone and/or email.
